Refuse to negotiate with the Taliban over the war in Afghanistan.

Created by M.B. on June 20, 2013

The Associated Press reports that Secretary of State John Kerry is set to meet with representatives from the Taliban in Qatar this week. This comes as the Taliban continues to kill Americans in the region, including four service members in a rocket attack on Bagram Air Base. As you know, it has been the long-standing policy of the United States not to negotiate with terrorists. The agreement of this administration to meet with the same people who maim and kill our soldiers at will is unacceptable. This action is shameful, and tantamount to surrender. We, the undersigned, ask that the government notify the Taliban representatives that the United States has not, and will not, negotiate with terrorists.
