There are rumors that the administration, in the "fiscal cliff" negotiations, is going to agree to raise the eligibility age for Medicare to 67. The cost of private insurance for seniors amounts to more than $10,000 per year, and if Medicare is removed as an option we will be facing a large financial burden at a time in our lives when we can ill afford it. And as insurance is going to be mandatory soon under Obamacare, we don't even have the option of not buying it. Is this what we fought for in the last election? No!!!
