refuse the request of recent states secession from these United States.

I live in Kansas and when I heard that 22 states, including my own, have started petitions to secede from the US, I felt fear like I never have in my life. I'm almost 30 years old and I live on $12 an hour. I know that these petitions were started by a few who feel that their candidate for president should have won and they are angry. Not angry that Mitt Romney would have made a better president, but angry that their vanity and pride was damaged. I know, to the fiber of my being, that should my state secede from the Union, the rich minority would have control of my state, and it makes me shiver. No state can stand on it's own in this global society with out help from the other states. Collective we stand, or divided we fall.
