Every year, Japanese "fishermen" engage in a cruel and inhuman dolphin hunt in the cove of Taiji, in which hundreds of dolphins are brutally killed or captured for a life of misery and slavery in captivity, for financial exploitation.
Dolphins are known to be highly intelligent sentient beings, capable of emotions, social bonding, and complex problem-solving and communication, and should thus be unconditionally protected.
