The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is being negotiated in absolute secrecy, and even our nation's congressmen do not have access to the contents of the treaty. Despite the opaqueness of these negotiations, we know some of the details of the treaty. We know it will destroy our labor and environmental laws. Domestic enforcement of all our regulations and laws could be challenged by corporations in international arbitration, which would violate our democratic system of government and national sovereignty. We ask that President Obama promise the American people he will not sign this trade agreement, and that he will end all current negotiations for the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
