We the People, that have signed this petition, believe we are the true holders of authority in this country, not our dictating government. Additionally, as we feel that the UN Arms Treaty is in direct violation of the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution, the opinion of the Office of President of the United States is irrelevant in this matter. Therefore, by signing this petition, We the People are in collective agreement that signing the UN Arms Treaty would be in direct violation of the Presidential Oath of Office: ". . .to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."
