The Syrian Rebellion, which began under pretenses that could have been good, has degraded into a mess of different factions fighting the Syrian government. Many of these factions are terror-affiliated and, regardless of steps taken (*cough* Operation Fast and Furious *cough*), will end up with American weapons and supplies in their hands. The blood of all Syrian people, Muslims, Alawites, and Christians alike, will be on the hands of the American government, if it isn't already, and supplying weapons or any sort of assistance will only make the strife worse and further destabilize the region.
