Money has contaminated our once balanced voice in government. We need to end the voice of the dollar within our political system and reestablish the voice of the individual citizen. Lobbying, political contributions, backroom exchanges that decide our voice as a nation do not represent the many and these practices need to end. By removing the power of the dollar from our political system we can regain our freedom and democracy. This will bring the campaign closer to the individual and hold those in office accountable for their actions by ensuring the voice of the individual is heard and acted upon if it truly represents the voice of the majority.
