The First Amendment of the Constitution states "Congress Shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion". Any bill written that discriminates against LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) Citizens of the United States by Congress, weather Democrat or Republican is clearly in violation of the First Amendment.
