Concerning the recent response to the seven (SEVEN!!!) marijuana related petitions: WTF!? It is blatantly obvious that this response was not a thoughtful one. We the people did not expect the federal government to come out in support of legalization. We the people DID expect that each of the petitions would be responded to, and that the actual points raised in said petitions would be addressed. Shame on you. We had high hopes for this petition process. Not that it would change anything, mind you; just that it would provide actual responses, from our government, to the concerns of the petitioners. We say again, shame on you. Please save this new petition system by actually responding to each qualifying petition.
