Register and have background checks for all firearms when changing ownership

I think that Pierce Morgan is absolutely correct with the statement he made. The IRA should be made accountable for holding the majority of our country hostage with their demands because and of the hatred they are spreading. Every gun should be registered new or used so that criminals and mentally unstable people have a harder time to get there hands on them. The other thing is when you sell a gun it can be traced and if someone sells this gun that person will be responsible for any crime committed if the gun is not reregistered by the new owner. Please tell my what is so hard to do. The argument is that it would take too much to keep track of every gun. That may have bin the case 50 years ago. Have you ever heard of computers?
