The role of local city, county, and state law enforcement is to protect and serve. They should not be allowed to purchase or possess military grade weapons and/or vehicles for enforcement of law as if we are in a military state or third world country. For any law enforcement officer that is not representing our U.S. military services to be wearing camouflage gear, carry machine guns, and drive tanks without proper military training & within our own U.S. borders puts us in the state of military dictatorship that is unacceptable and unseen since we had a King ruling over our colonies. We must develop a bond of trust & peace in the masses. I, as a citizen would never be allowed to buy a tank, concussion grenades, and machine guns, why should they be able to with no training. This is not USSR.
