Airline companies have been shrinking the length and width of airline seats to dangerous levels that endanger the health, comfort and wellbeing of paying passengers. I ask the Obama Administration to regulate the airline industry to establish minimum dimensions for aircraft seats to give more personal space to the paying public. Even without the epidemic of obesity, airline seats have become so narrow and short, that the average adult American cannot comfortably fit. Cramped seats increase the likelihood of developing, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), hip, neck and shoulder pain and is a health concern for healthy individuals. Air travel should never be at the cost of our health. Thank you for your attention to this ever worsening situation.
