College text book prices have been rising at a rate higher than that of health care and students who are already paying large amounts of money to attend an institute of higher education should not have to pay extra money.
Also the text book industry does not have the free market aspect that other industries do because students are required to buy a certain book from a publisher or else they cannot participate in the class.
Textbooks should help with education not add to the burden.
