The purchase of ammunition for all guns is regulated through the state's Fish & Game offices. Each person wishing to purchase ammunition must present identification to the office of F & G. Once approved, A limit is place on each of the four categories; hunting (must have a valid hunting license), collector, self-protection, target shooter.
Each category has limits on the amount of ammunition allowed for each purchase.
