regulate and demand improvement of the internet service provider industry

Created by I.C. on July 02, 2013

Over the last two decades, we, the American people, have come to rely more and more heavily upon our access to the internet. However, as our dependence and use of the internet has gone up, internet service providers have failed to keep pace. Today they continue to charge us heavy monthly fees for almost unacceptable levels of bandwidth, $50 for a 6mbps connection or more, claiming that its "super fast" and "the best we can offer".

Yet recent events have shown as that really this isn't the best they can offer. Google and other companies have shown that we are being basically robbed by the internet service providers. And that is why we, the American people, call upon the Obama administration begin regulating the internet service provider industry for the betterment of the American people
