Each year the Black Friday holiday sales have slowly creep in and taken the individual away from their family and forced to serve the corporation. The individual HAS to serve them that day, regardless of availability. In addition, the worker is threatened with termination if they cannot make it. There was a point in American History that Thanksgiving & the days that followed was a time for family, not serving corporation's greedy consumerist interests. It is pointless to visit your family out of state because of the corporation. Now stores are opening sooner than ever. Thanksgiving was a closed day to business and opening up early in the morning on Friday, to opening at midnight and now opening on Thanksgiving. The worker has no protection. The corporations' wallet 1st & family is second.
