Regulate the costs of cable television across all cable outlets

This is a petition to regulate the high costs of cable television across all cable outlets within the United States. In addition, the regulated costs should include consumer options as to the channels they wish to receive or not receive and a regulation that cable television billing statements will be required to have detailed descriptions of each charge applied to the consumer account. Currently, billing statements with cable television companies state very generic headings for each charge, where the consumer cannot decipher what they are actually being charged for. In addition, billing charges for blanket cable coverage when one does not wish to receive the additional coverage, would be changed to where the consumer chooses their own specific coverage that suits their needs and budget.
