Regulate Domestic Drone Usage.

While domestic drones can (and are) used for good purposes such as monitoring crops; they can and will be abused by government officials unless regulations are put in place and enforced. Drones have the potential to infringe upon a citizen’s 1st amendment rights including their implied right to privacy. We do not want to outlaw domestic drone usage in its entirety, rather we want to ensure that citizens rights under the Constitution are protected. We would like for a warrant to be a required for any use of drones in the reconnaissance of potential criminals or other, similar applications; such as surveillance. We would support the implementation of a law similar to the The Preserving Freedom from Unwarranted Surveillance Act of 2013 proposed by Senator Rand Paul (R-KY).
