regulate the IP sector, and prevent the consumer robberies committed by companies like at&t

Mr. President we live in a new modern era, and with that comes new issues that many in congress don't relate to or (in my personal opinion) have a complete disconnect with the people they are supposed to be representing. My opinions aside there is an issue of increasing importance to me and my fellow americans, the complete deregulation of companies in the telecommunications sector. The FCC has failed us by choosing to not regulate companies in the IP sector, now consumers are literally paying the price for this failure. We pay ludicrous amounts of money for poor service, and yet if we look to Europe they pay far less for far far better service. So what needs to happen is tough regulation on companies to provide better service at far lower costs.
