Regulate marijuana for responsible recreational use.

We, the people have found the administrations response to a similar petition with 75,000 signatures to be grossly inaccurate, ignorant, and ill informed. Marijuana must come off of the controlled substance act for many reasons.
Most importantly is the lack of evidence that cannabis causes significant damage to the human body even in heavy smokers, in fact research is coming to find that it reduces the risk of cancer in every scientific study done. It is proven to be an excellent medication for the already ill, and studies have shown that the theraputic and illness prevention qualities far outweigh the small amount of negative side effects. Do some real rresearch and stop relying on the FDA which is funded by the pharmaceutical companies, who have motive to keep marijuana illegal.
