Regulate media portrayal of violence.

Created by A.F. on November 26, 2012

Science has proven over and over again that watching violence on TV or when playing video games has an adverse affect on the brain in that it brings the viewer almost 50% closer to actually committing a violent act. As the viewer is watching the violent act, he or she is mimicking it in the brain. This is how people understand what's going on in the world. They mimic in the the brain. By "rehearsing" the violent act in the brain, the individual is much more prone to commit the violent act. This is enhanced when the violence is glorified and/or when the individual is in deep poverty.

Psychologists have proven this to be a FACT. The study has been replicated hundreds of times and it is a FACT that media violence increases REAL actual violence.
