Regulate news media following tragic events such as Newtown/Sandy Hook Elementary

Created by T.K. on December 18, 2012

As it stands now, the media is more interested in having the highest ratings rather than giving people time to mourn. Once an event has happened, the media should be given access for a maximum of 48 hours to report what has happened and then get out.

On top of everything that has happened at Newtown, you have TV and print reporters accosting residents and small children. TV crews camped out in streets and parking lots. Photographers snapping pictures constantly. Enough is enough. There's no need for media coverage of a 6-year old's funeral or anyone else's for that matter.
