Violence against animals has become more and more common on movies and television shows even when it is not crucial to the story. For families who own pets and/or care about animals it is quite disturbing. Violence against animals could be regulated to one of the two following categories: (1) be indicated in the movie category, such as pg13, etc; and/or (2) only allow violence against animals on movies and tv shows when it is crucial to the story.
