The industry of "Gold Farming" is an unregulated and untaxed international industry. Gold Farming involves use of dubious labor practices and bot-farms. Some of these practices include child labor, and sweatshop labor. Bot Farms are synchronized networks of Bots. A Bot is a program that performs automated tasks and routines. This practice is forbidden by the Terms of Service and End User License Agreements of almost every Online Game.
A Bot will "play" the game, often exploiting mechanics to produce currency that is used in the game. Then they sell the currency for Real Life Money. This results in a transfer of US Dollars into foreign countries, and dubious cartels which are often blacklisted.
Please help put an end to this practice through taxation of this 9 billion dollar industry.
