Regulate packaging for the better health of the environment and humanity.

Created by M.H. on May 15, 2014

It is the common practice of retail to package goods in cheap plastics that cannot be recycled, do not rot at all or release dangerous toxins if they do. Often times, small goods are given many layers of such packaging. There is no alternative but to fill landfills with these materials, which puts the wildlife, water purity, and even our own health at risk. Therefore, for the preservation of the environment and humanity, there should be legal ramifications on what kind of packaging retail can use, encouraging environmentally friendly materials that safely and completely biodegrade or can be recycled, and disallowing completely the use of materials that can't.
