regulate paid cable providers to air only non commercial venues.

Created by S.L. on February 10, 2013

Why does the consumer have to pay for television that is riddled with commercials? The networks are profiting on both ends and the consumer is paying for nothing. The commercials are suppose to pay for the network's cost of airing the broadcast. If that is so, why does the cable provider charge so much money? It has become natural to pay for broadcasting and watch commercials simultaneously. There should be a disclosure statement at the bottom of every commercial reminding the viewer that they are paying for this programming twice. Or, restrict paid programming to only commercial free programming. The viewers, almost every single American, is being used and taking advantage of.
