Alarming new research has surfaced whose consequences are pushing the limits on human power and responsibility. Scientists have discovered how to make a life form, dubbed Synthia, from completely organic materials. This is a huge step in the scientific field and we should not advance until the potentially dire consequences have been thoroughly investigated and preventative measures have been instated. Not only could the most powerful bioweapon known to man be created, but we might unknowingly create a super resistant bacterium or bug which could throw the ecosystem out of order, or infect the human race. Therefore, we call for the United Nations to strictly regulate the research until we are fully prepared and knowledgeable about our actions and consequences.
