We the people of the United States of America request that the Obama Administration regulate the sale of Pressure Cookers and require background checks on persons seeking to purchase them and require registration of pressure cookers in use today to prevent the implementation of future IEDs like the ones used in the Boston Marathon bombings.
Limiting the sale of these devices and requiring checks of persons wishing to buy them will help eliminate the possibility of another attack like the last being carried out.
Restaurants, certified and licensed chefs are the only persons who need to use pressure cookers in todays society. They are dangerous on their own and when constructed into bombs are lethal.
