We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Regulate the school textbook industry

Created by T.S. on September 09, 2016

Education is the future. Highly educated students lead to successful business owners, politicians, and other positions vital to the survival of our nation.

Many companies are taking advantage of this fact, and exploiting those who want to get a higher education. Textbooks made out of cheap paper, without any binding, are costing some students over $500 - making "affordable education" a myth.

These companies make deals in order to basically monopolize students into buying only their books. They make an edition every year so that people will never be able to get them used.

The entire textbook industry is a scam, leeching off of good people who want to create a better life for themselves. Markets like this are the ones that need regulation, as they are sapping the resources of the future.
