regulate timeshare companies for unfair maintenance fee hikes and lack of available inventory.

Created by P.S. on January 26, 2013

People have bought timeshares in good faith to use them accordingly and pay acceptable fees. However, timeshare companies have oversold the locations so you can no longer find availability and have doubled their fees over the last couple of years. Consumers have no recourse. We must pay the increased fees with no ability to use the product we have paid for and there is no way to ever get out of the contract. We are willing to walk away from investment. There is no resale market. Even charities won't take them. Consumers have 2 choices: pay rapidly increasing maintenance fees for life, or face collection and have their credit damaged/be threatened with court action.
