History should never have been taken out of the textbooks, and they should be restored to the textbooks irregardless of what is believed to cause problems.
History is History, and we must not forget it, or we are doomed to repeat it. Irregardless of whether you are ashamed of your history or not, it happened, and it should be remembered.
Why are kids not educated that the Republican party was founded to abolish slavery? Why are kids not educated about the archaeological facts that enforce Christianity? Why are kids not taught about these things?
Put them back in the textbooks! we always hear about "The Good Old days", and I believe this is why those days will not exist again until these things are restored back into our education system.
