Solar energy is free and here to stay. We are at a tipping point where we no longer need the use of fossil fuels within the US for electricity production. While this may hurt the oil companies, who are also still collecting subsidies after all decades, like the telephone, they're becoming obsolete. Solar energy growth has not only increased FULL time jobs in the economy, it brings us closer to a world where we can be proud of our accomplishments by providing the infrastructure needed for future generations towards a sustainable future.
By sending a clear message from the White House about how the US Government stands on renewables, it will allow time for utilities to being scaling back fossil fuel power plants and invest into solar themselves for energy production.
