Reinforcement of MONUSCOs mandate, sanctions against military officers of neighbor countries cited in the DRC UN report.

I sign this petition to express my concern about the inadequate response to the rampant sexual violence of Congolese women and girls face daily. I applaud the latest report of UN experts confirming the implication of neighbor countries in the M23 militia war in the eastern part of the DRC. We hope the world and the United States we will listen to the people of DRC in this time of crisis and the attention given to these issues. More can and should be done, for example the reinforcement of MONUSCOs mandate, sanctions against military officers of neighbor countries cited in the report of the UN experts, the enforcement of the Law No. 109-456 Democratic Republic of Congo Relief, and Democracy Promotion, by applying a military embargo against countries that support M23 according to the report o
