The Bureau of Land Management is currently rounding up the wild mustangs and burrios from public lands. During the roundups, they are causing even death. They are holding them in deplorable conditions. They are committing unspeakable acts of cruelty towards these animals. A recent documentary titled "Wild Horses and Renegades" exposes these atrocities. The Law that protected these animals was altered under George Bush Jr. It gives the BLM the right to remove these animals from their land. The cattle ranchers, energy companies and those seeking minerals right want the horses gone so they can benefit.
The reality is that the horses are part of our nation's history and belong here. They don't deserve to be tortured, maimed and killed by the very agency that was to protect them.
