In Afghanistan, Quinn and Martland confronted an Afghan commander because he had an 11 year old boy as a "sex slave." The boy had been repeatedly raped by the commander. Both men were punished for this, because as an Army spokesman put it the two men risked, "...catastrophic loss of rapport with Afghan officials."
These men who were able to take the moral and ethical stand are exactly the kind of people I want defending and representing our country. They are the best of the best!
