Reinstate Armistice Day in place of Veterans Day.

Created by B.C. on November 17, 2014

Simply, I would like to rename Veterans day back to Armistice day, which is an international holiday meant to honors those who has died in war. Armistice day was meant to celebrate peace and remember those who have died in war. it was originally made a nationwide holiday in 1926 by congress, as a means to celebrate and create peace. but was renamed to Veterans day in the 1950s by congress, as a means to celebrate the veterans of recent war. I am not against Veterans and am not trying to take away their special day, but Armistice day was created first and is celebrated world wide, on the same day as veterans day. So in an effort to celebrate and keep peace, i hope to bring back armistice day, in place of veterans day, which marked the end of world war 2, on the 11th day of the 11 month.
