If China cannot be trusted to produce food that is safe for dogs, how can they be expected to keep Americans safe from food-borne illness? The ban was reversed with the expectation that China would reciprocate, allowing U.S. poultry and beef producers to turn higher profits. Increasing company profits at the cost of food safety is reprehensible and a ban on imported chicken from China should be reinstated.
