Reinstate "break pay" for our veterans using Chapter 33 education benefits.

Created by M.J. on September 25, 2011

Since 2008, Chapter 33 (Post 9/11) education benefits have included a "break pay" for students continuously enrolled in a qualifying school program. Veterans saw a dramatic change this year. "Break or interval pay is no longer payable under any VA education benefit program unless under an Executive Order of the President or due to an emergency, such as a natural disaster or strike." This has created hardships for many veterans. We supported you, now we ask that you support us by reinstating "break pay" as we become productive members of today's civilian work force.
