The national motto of the United States should reflect the diverse values possessed by all Americans. Citizens are free to express any level of religious practice without judgment or endorsement from their government. Therefore, only a secular state devoid of religious opinion or influence can in turn protect all forms of religion.
In compliance with the First Amendment constituting every American with the rights to Free Speech and the Freedom of Religion, the national motto should comply and be returned to "E Pluribus Unum." Such a motto does not discriminate, condemn or condone any one group of people above or below another, no matter how populous, regardless of their creed. Americans have a responsibility to protect that right for everyone equally; for out of many, we are one.
