reinstate the Educator Expense Deduction for 2014 for out of pocket work expenses for school personnel.

Created by C.S. on January 31, 2014

The Educators Expense Deduction was a popular tax break that expired at the end of 2013. This deduction was a $250 over the line deduction to cover out of pocket school related expenses for school personnel. Most teachers spend far more than that over the course of the year on their classrooms. The reinstatement of this tax break would show some government support for the most undervalued members of our society. Our teachers. Help teachers continue to fund their classrooms in the future and sign this petition.
