Reinstate the excise tax of 20% on motion pictures and revenue generated from motion pictures of the 1940s and 50s.

Created by B.S. on November 14, 2012

Restoring the 20% excise tax on motion pictures and revenue generated from motion pictures. This tax was instated after World War II until it's repeal in the mid 1950s as a result of high deficit. With deficit at an all time high and historical precedent the tax should be levied a new. This tax will be levied on the motion picture industry and not the people of the United States of America.
