Being unemployed is a soul destroying situation. So many applications, so many interviews, so many rejections, and it's never ending. Unemployed people did not choose to live like this, most of us have worked our whole lives, then this happened.
Extended Unemployment was a lifeline, because without it, we can't afford to even put the gas in our car, to get to the interview, to get the job.
Without it, most of us will be homeless, destitute. It's not the way we planned to live after all the years of hard work we've put in, it's the very last thing we would ever want.
