The Fairness Doctrine ensured that equal air time was given to all sides of an issue . Unbiased information from all sides of an issue is crucial to true reporting. Without the Fairness Doctrine the news has turned into propaganda that basically tells people what to think instead of giving us all the information. When we the people are given all the facts from all political points of view we think critically and make our minds up based on All the facts. I believe that as free Citizens we deserve fair , equal and unbiased information , Not perception management given by corporate tools.
