this key strategic benefit ushered in by Alan Greenspan in 1983 has helped many seniors have the money to pay their bills and this was tragic that the elimination of this benefit was tacked on to the emergency bill to avoid a U.S.debt default without informing the many people that have been relying on this helpful benefit.Those of us 62 and younger who are just about in line for this benefit are being left out in the cold by our government, especially since there was no public evaluation or discussion about these changes and no publicly identified authors of these reforms.
