Good dental care is essential to total body health care. ALL veterans who are eligible to receive health care benefits should be also entitled to health-essential VA general dental care as well. Poor oral care can be fatal in some cases. Many honorably-discharged veterans are turned away from the VA for even serious dental pain and or infection. Many veterans can't afford independent dental insurance. The federal government should recognize proper dental care as essential to total health care. The teeth are essential organs to proper digestion or wholesome foods.
