We petition the Obama Administration to reinstate funding to all military demonstration teams including but not limited to the Blue Angels, the Thunderbirds, the Heritage Flight Team, the Golden Knights, the Black Daggers, the Leap Frogs, the Black Knights, the Army Marksmanship Unit, and the Air Combat Command (ACC) Single-Ship Demonstration Teams.
These teams are a vital economic part of local events held throughout the United States that have already been canceled due to the sequestration. This results in a huge loss of revenue to local populations. This also means that smaller private demonstration teams that depend on the larger military teams will go out of business.
Some of these private teams maintain a piece of history that once gone, we will never get them back.
