Reinstate the Glass-Steagall act and break up the large banks like we did AT&T and Bell Labs

Reinstate Glass-Steagall and break up the existing banks into highly regulated banks and lightly regulated investment houses. This should prevent the kinds of problems we saw in 2008 and hopefully prevent banks like Goldman Sachs from manipulating the commodities markets like Oil and most recently Aluminum (aka Aluminium) which affect the American consumer and the American middle class society.
