Reinstating the gold standard in these United States would ensure a more stable dollar and would help to stop the unceasing and very drastic rise of inflation. The gold standard provides financial security, peace of mind and it stabilizes the currency. Ask some economists, 9/10 of those that I've spoken with concur that the gold standard promotes a stable, secure and strong economy.
