Reinstate gun rights to felons convicted of non-violent crimes after they have served their sentence in full

Created by S.J. on November 12, 2012

We ask that gun rights be reinstated to convicted felons that have not commuted any violent crimes. Not every person who has been convicted of a felony a violent person or a danger to society. Even they are entitled to protect there family. This would not only enable them to protect their family from possible harm but also allow them to provide food by allowing them to hunt. It is mans right to bear arms. We don't ask for every felon's right be reinstated just those convicted of non violent crimes that have not been convicted more than once and with a waiting period of no less than 7 years from the date of conviction.
